I managed to get myself interviewed on January 10th, 2012 by the Haunted South Team for their weekly podcast.

I say "managed to get" because I was NOT their scheduled guest. I am not sure if they ever even heard from their scheduled guest, but at show time he was a no-show.

Guess who just happened to be in the chat room that night, expecting a relaxing evening consisting of listening to an intelligent conversation of the paranormal preceded by making oddly insightful yet humorous comments directed at Stacey as she read her news.

If you guessed ME...you are correct and would be awarded a prize of some sort if one were available and appropriate. Since it is not, you will leave here empty handed. Such is life.

Anyhow, knowing how much I love to bullshit talk about the paranormal, John invited me to be filler interviewed. Since the show's original guest was scheduled to talk about the dangers of paranormal investigating, I tried to concentrate on that topic, at least initially.

I apologize if I sound funny (funnier than usual...and not funny "ha-ha"). I had been to the dentist that day so the roof of my mouth was still a little numb, and I was on prescription pain killers. I haven't listened to it...I hope I didn't giggle, break into showtunes,  or curse inappropriately.

But despite the last minute call to action, I was honored that they felt I was a worthy replacement. They could have easily called off the show for that evening, but instead they gave me the opportunity to share some experiences and theories. They are some of the nicest people I have met in the field, and I look forward to working with them on an investigation at our first opportunity.

At least this time I did not spend the next day fretting over what I should have said...I am not even sure what I said.
