This Sunday, May 12, my guests on Paranormal Filler are the members of Cradle To The Grave Paranormal Investigations.

I met the group at DeadWinterCon this spring. In the chaos and noise that is a paranormal convention I did manage to do a brief interview with one of the members, Chelsea. I also took the opportunity to schedule a more in-depth interview with the entire team in the more relaxed atmosphere that is my regularly scheduled broadcast.

What followed was a round of what I am starting to call FaceBook tag. They didn't get my messages...I had to reschedule...they were out of town...and so forth.

We finally managed to get together!

Here is their bio from Team Leader, Lisa:

  • I have always been interested in the paranormal due to experiences that I have had since I was a kid. I also grew up in a family of "sensitives". My father would say I really need to call your grandmother, then the phone would ring and she would be on the line and this was just considered normal. I was also raised in the Southern Baptist Church, which created personal conflicts within myself about Heaven, Hell, death and resurrection. I left that and went into the medical field becoming a labor and delivery nurse. I immersed myself in what I thought was hard science, but in my career, I have experienced things I cannot explain. My husband and I began doing paranormal investigations as a hobby but I felt that the field was missing a strong female perspective. What has been shown on television is male driven. Women are supposed to be the sensitive and intuitive ones. Why are we not leading the way in paranormal research? I put together a team of all intelligent educated women; including a fellow nurse, a day school director, and a college student. We are pursuing answers to questions that must people ask about death and what happens to us when we do pass.

So join me Sunday night at 8PM EDT for Paranormal Filler on LiveParanormal. You can post your questions for the team in the chatroom and, as always, the phone lines will be open.

Bishop James Long On Paranormal Filler PDF Print E-mail

This Sunday, May 5th, my guest on Paranormal Filler is The Bishop James Long of the Paranormal Clergy.

I first spoke to Bishop Long a few years ago at Scarefest if I remember correctly. Back then, I didn't have an internet radio show and I definitely wasn't looking for demons. I ran into him this year at DeadWinterCon and things had changed. Now I have an internet radio show and...well okay...ONE thing changed. I am still not looking for demons.

I originally had him scheduled to come on a couple of weeks back, but I had some trouble reaching him to confirm his appearance. Once we got together, he graciously scheduled the very next date that he had available.

Of course we will be talking about demons and demonology and exorcisms. But I am really interested in his views on all of the other ghosts, spirits and sundry critters that seem to be part of the paranormal equation.

So join me this Sunday, May 5, at 8PM EDT for Paranormal Filler at LiveParanormal.com. As always the phone lines and chat will be open and we will take your questions.

Here is his bio that I snagged from a booking site.

Bishop James Long studied for the Roman Catholic Priesthood for 6 years. It was during his years in the seminary that Bishop Long received solid formation; both Academic and Spiritual. It was also during his years in the seminary that he met and was mentored by a real Exorcist who was not affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.

Through prayer and discernment, Bishop Long accepted Gods call to become an Independent Catholic Priest. He was ordained a Deacon, Priest and was consecrated a Bishop within the Old Catholic Church.

Since he was 5 years old, Bishop Long knew that he wanted to be a priest.  However, he knew that he was also called to study Demonology and at the age of 9, he began to study anything he could on the subject.

Three Dreams PDF Print E-mail
Written by Wes Forsythe

I haven’t been keeping up with my Dream Log lately. What can I tell you? When I awake from a dream, unless that dream is REALLY remarkable, I tend to just opt to roll over and go back to sleep.

I have decided to post what I remember about three dreams that I have had in the last couple of weeks. I didn’t bother to record the details of either when they were fresh on my mind, but the general themes and a few details have stuck with me.

The first was rather simple. The cast of Deep South Paranormal was asking me what they could do differently to make their show more credible.

The content of this dream is easily explained. I had left the television playing in my bedroom on a Wednesday night. As the show played in the background, the dream was “seeded” in my mind. No big mysteries there.

Blane Wilcut From The Morrison Lodge PDF Print E-mail

I really appreciate Blane Wilcut, tour leader at the Morrison Lodge for joining me on Paranormal Filler last night on short notice.

As many of you know, I've had some scheduling problems with my guests over the past couple of weeks. It seems that NO ONE CHECKS THEIR FACEBOOK OR TWITTER OR EMAIL MESSAGES BUT ME. I blame myself for scheduling my calendar too far in advance...and not getting phone numbers.

Blane was a great guest and knows the history of the building backwards and forwards. My live listeners got the added bonus of a little dead-air time when BlogTalkRadio disconnected me, not once - but twice!. I edited that from the archive, so other than the part where I bitch about it, your listening pleasure need not be interrupted.
